We bought a digital "HD" tuner card with antenna for our laptop computer.

The digital channel picture quality is gorgeous!
The same program over the air via regular tv (NTSC) via rabbit ears
is nowhere near as good.
Actually, the laptop picture quality looked better than what I've seen on cable too.
If you haven't obtained a digital tv tuner yet, you might want to see about getting one.
Ours is a Hauppauge WinTV USB HDTV adapter.
